About the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas

The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas,  501c(3) non-profit, is the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas providing an average of 24 million pounds of food and grocery products, nutrition education and social services outreach to 300,000 clients each year through a network of 300 human service charities.  Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the Food Bank serves 21 counties in Central Texas, an area about twice the size of Massachusetts. Our mission is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger.
